This year our test is going to be even more special... a new competition joins the medium and long distance ACUATLON ?‍♂️? of PROMOTION OF MINORS?‍♀️??!

The smallest of the house will be able to know what it feels like when you swim in the lake of As Pontes and when you run through the same places as our triathletes. A unique sports experience that they will never be able to forget ? and neither will their families!

Athletes from the prebenjamín, benjamín, alevín and infantile categories, born between 2017 and 2010, may participate in this test. It is essential that they have reached 6 years of age and have a valid federative license or process a license for one day!

At ⏱ 4:30 p.m. the test for the youngest will begin. They will have to swim 50 meters and run 500 meters. At ⏱4:45 p.m., the older athletes will start to face a 100-meter swimming circuit and then run one kilometer.

Appetizing right? Well, hurry up, there are only 1️⃣5️⃣0️⃣ places available...

The bike circuit has a distance of 4️⃣4️⃣ km. If you participate in the MD you will have to do 2️⃣ laps (the difference in level will be 710 meters). L@s brave who participate in the LD will have to give 4 ️⃣ laps to the circuit and the gap will be 1380 meters. In both cases there will be a 1 km link to enter and exit the transition zone?‍♀️

The most dangerous point⚠️ is at the roundabout to access the lake. You will find two linked curves going down; the circuit is fenced and taped but a clueless spectator may appear ?. Please, maximum caution!

After these curves you will face the only level of the test... you will start at 320 meters of altitude and you will finish at 450. Surely you have overcome worse ascents?! From there flat and false flat… ? ? ?? ? ?? ????? ?? ??????@? ?‍♀️.

There will be two refreshment stations per lap, signposted, at the ends of the circuit. 6 volunteers, one @ every 5️⃣meters, will give you water drums, bars, gels, banana? and isotonic drum.

One of the best sheets of water for swimming and a temperature of 18-20 degrees.
This space has its history, being the largest artificial lake in Europe, which this year celebrated its tenth anniversary. Before that, it was the mine that supplied the thermal power plant with lignite.
